Samuel L Jackson is genuinely menacing in this "young couple get stalked by psycho next door" tale. The twist is that Sam is a copper and that he is racist to the mixed race couple next door. The film is pretty good but its Samuel L Jackson that makes the movie worth watching. My little boy watches the Star Wars prequels on a loop so it was refreshing to see him play something other than Mace Windu.
