Piss Factory

As the world trembles at the thought of a bit of flu. The rest of us trundle on with bills to pay and problems to solve. Let the world be distracted by the rolling news channels from the big pile of shit the capitalist system has left us in, a lot of people haven't got that luxury. Just heard yesterday that Ashton Foods (now Vion), the factory I worked at for 11 years is finally to close a the cost of 400 jobs. I was made redundant 2 years ago along with another 400 people, I'd imagine it's harder to get a job now than it was then. I feel sorry for a lot of people there (some people not so much, but that's another story). Maybe swine flu could take a few out before they become unemployment statistics and help the Labour Government out.

In other news the Vet has just wiped out a months worth of cycling to work savings. £50 to tell me Old Suse has got a temperature and give her some antibiotics. Un-fucking -believable. No recession for the Vets of the world.  Mind you I did think she was going to die and had started searching round for her death place like dogs do.
