Walking on Sunshine

I don't know. A couple of weeks sunshine and the blog gets dropped like a hot potato!

We had a glorious week in Devon which was fantastic. I had to go  to Durham with work as soon as I got back so over 24 hours I was driving for 12 hours. Which was no fun at all, especially with a faulty sat nav that would randomly shout out "make a sharp left" and "turn around when possible" whilst trundling down the motorway. A less focused person may have ended up in a ditch. Another camping weekend in Edale consisted of  basically a long walk to a pub. Granted it was over some spectacular scenery, and the beer was exceptionally good after a long walk. There was group of MTB'ers camped next to us who just ate and ate until the early hours. When they weren't eating they were talking about food- Balsamic vinegar, giant breakfast tomatoes and chocolate croissants. Bear in mind this camping. We had out of date pot noodles and black tea because we had forgotten the milk. We are hardcore though. Shelley said they were probably chefs...or twats.

A great weekend where we shared (Shelley-one glass, me-the rest) our last bottle of wine  for a while as I attempt once more to jump on the wagon.

I'll steal Shelley's pictures to summarise the nice weather:
