We've spent quite an exhausting weekend settling in a new dog. Ruby is a Beagle we rescued from the dogs home, one of those spur of the moment things that was meant to be. She was snatched from deaths door as her time was up at the dogs home and she was due to be put to sleep. We contacted the pound and followed her through a charity that re-homes animals. She is only 18 months old and seems to have attached herself to me. She is doing OK and the other two are not so bad with her. Susie the old one has stopped attacking her with her old toothless mouth anyway.
She is a Beagle and is also a little sod. She can jump on the window ledge and also climb fences. I'm going to have ot have eyes in my arse with this one. There is also the issue of the rabbit. You can't get centuries of breeding out of the way so quickly.
